For the Silk Relations Website design update the challenge was to push the limits of its Squarespace template and find ways to implement our new design ideas. This we achieved through custom CSS injection.
Based on the specific project needs a full custom website and CMS might not always be the way to go. Alternatively, to use and challenge an available website building software allows to implement simple ideas and speed the implementation process of a basic digital presence.
Excited to see the final design phase for Maschinenraum GmbH implemented. We have supported Maschinenraum through all stages, from wayfinding and scope definition to visual design and prototyping to final manufacturing and installation of the finished signage system.
In the past year, the professional focus revolved primarily around working on exciting new projects, making clients happy and meeting many new, talented people. Naturally, during such periods, one tends to neglect their own housekeeping. So, the cold and dark month of January presented itself as the ideal time to pick up this challenging task. Together and with collective efforts of the Designer’s Circle at Factory Berlin, we have created and self-published a magazine that showcases who we are, our work and aspirations as designers. The first edition is titled “Hidden Gems”, and exhibits work that didn’t make it into the final product. Free copies can be picked up at both Factory locations.
When we first met with the ambitious young team behind San Francisco based start-up Harvest, both the tight timeline and their clear vision were undeniable. Close collaboration and a streamlined process allowed us to create a clean brand identity and compact website, ready for Harvest to take on the market of performance-based marketing.
